SACMHF's Board of Trustees

The broad of trustees at Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation (SACMHF) ensures that the charity complies with charity law.  Each year financial returns are submitted to the Charity Commission and Companies House.

The Charity Commission

The Charity Commission is an independent regulator of charities in England & Wales.  They are a regulator who work closely with charities to ensure their:

  • effectiveness
  • accountability
  • they are well run
  • meets their legal obligations.

GP Brookes Chartered Accountants assist us in the preparation in producing independently examined accounts.

Vice Chairperson

Marcia Wilson has worked studiously for Sandwell Council for 26 years. She has excelled in her work with a diverse range of community groups, events management and work with vulnerable adults, of course including work with people recovering from mental ill health. Read more
