It is a celebration for reggae culture and its influence on Jamaican music. 10th - 16th May 2021 is Mental Health Awareness Week. Nature and exercise is pivotal for people's mental health and wellbeing. The evidence is clear that access to nature is crucial for our mental health and millions of people re-discovered that during lockdowns this year. However, this was not the same for all of us. This year The Mental Health Foundation want to explore what the barriers are and ensure everyone is able to share in the natural world and experience the mental health benefits. Read more
Almost 10 million people in the UK are currently living with some form of hearing loss. 3rd - 5th May 2021 marks Deaf Awareness Week. Deafness and hearing loss can mean different things to different people. People use various words to describe how they view their own hearing loss. Being deaf or having a hearing loss may have an impact on someone's mental health, so it is important we use this week to raise awareness. Read more
