Our partners

Synergi Collaborative Centre

The Synergi Collaborative Centre and Catalyst 4 Change coordinated a working group with service users, carers, providers and health professionals to develop a regional strategy to tackle ethnic inequalities to improve commissioning and service provision, and to inform the political and policy contexts in which we are working. The working group welcomed the opportunity to work and collaborate with Sean Russell, Implementation Director, West Midlands Mental Health Commission, in pursuit of this goal.

The next step will be to summarise the ideas and proposals which came from attendees at the Creative Spaces event. It will be circulated for your comment with the aim to produce coalition action statement by the end of 2018.

Communities in sync (CIS)

CIS is a consortia of ten organisations who work together to maximise our joint expertise to bid for tenders to deliver public services.  The consortia was constituted in December 2016 as a Community Benefit Society and is accountable to the Financial Conduct Authority.

CIS achievements include:

  • Set up funding from Sandwell & West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group
  • A development grant from the Big Lottery to employ a Business Development Manager
  • A successful tender to the Better Care Fund

West Midlands Police

SACMHF's Kuumba Centre is a Hate Crime Reporting Centre and is able to support the local community who want to report a hate crime.  Some information to help you understand hate crime is outlined below:

The Race Equality Foundation (REF)

The Race Equality Foundation has been working with SACMHF for several years now.  The basis of this work has been the provision of training and engagement of beneficiaries to inform the work of the Care Quality commission.
